A city seen from a height in the first morning light, rooftops and offices on the right, haze and water on the left, a few windows still lit.

Find the companies that already buy what you sell.

Describe what you sell. Legion finds the companies, reads up on them and shows the source behind every lead.

Every lead

2–4pieces of evidence, each with a source

A desk by a tall window in a bright office, printed pages, a pen and a cup in morning sun, the city rooftops outside.

Every lead shows its sources.

A score from 0 to 100, two to four quotes with links, one sentence for and one against. If something looks wrong you can see where it came from.

Pick countries and set how many companies to look at.

  3. Read the evidence and choose

Move the ones you believe in to the pipeline, with an owner and a next step.

A European city seen from a terrace in the hills in the morning, rooftops, a river and the sea to the horizon.

Where your customers are.

You pick countries for every run. The search can run in each market’s own language, so companies that only write in their own language are found.

Get started

One query. Every market’s language.

Queries are written in English, and an English query only finds companies that describe themselves in English. Pick countries and the query is translated into each market’s main language and asked once per language.

  • Countries, not regions
  • One query per language
  • Company names as they write them

Questions

How do I find new B2B customers for a manufacturing company?

Start from who buys from you today. Describe what you sell and name a few customers, and Legion searches for companies with the same kind of production in the countries you choose. Each one comes back with what was found on its website.

How is this different from buying a lead list or using a B2B database?

A database sells you records it already holds, filtered by industry code and size. Legion reads up on each company against your own description and shows you what it read. You get fewer companies, and a reason for each one.

What is the difference between Search and List?

Search answers who is likely to buy what you sell. It starts from your profile, scores every company and saves the ones above the threshold. List answers which companies match a description. It ignores the profile, tests every company against your criteria and gives you all of them, with no score. Search for a call list, List for a market map.

Can it search in other languages?

Yes. You pick countries for the run and can let the query be translated into each market’s main language. It is then asked once per language, so companies that only write in their own language are found.

Can it find companies similar to our best customers?

Yes. Add your existing customers to the company description, or mark a lead as a good example. Legion reads them, derives what they have in common and writes three to five queries from that.

How do I know a lead is right?

Every lead has two to four pieces of evidence with a link to the page. Open one and read it. If Legion misread something, that is where you will see it.

Does Legion find contact people?

Yes, when you ask for it. For a company you have chosen, Legion looks for people there and shows the page each one was found on.

How do I keep a run from getting too big?

Before you start, you set how many queries it may ask and how many companies it may look at.

Can we use customs data or other registers?

Yes, as an extra analysis. You upload the file, for example an export from a customs-data provider or a public register, and match it against your profile or ask questions to it. Legion does not sell data, and the search works without it.

Start by describing what you sell.

That is the first thing you do in Legion. Then run a search or build a list.
